One hundred and thirty three years ago, the Feldschlobchen Brewery was founded by Frederick August Kupfer, a farmer, in the town of Kappalbachtal.

There have been many turbulent years in the Kappler Brewery's history.We have experienced war, political upheaval, raw material shortages, along with many other difficulties. However, we have always managed to work through these problems and maintain the high standards we set for our well-known brew.

There are still struggles today, although different ones. All breweries in Germany are facing decreasing per capita beer consumption rates. Because of this Braustolz's marketing strategies are becoming more and more consumer oriented. Individuality and flexibility play a big role because consumer behavior can change very quickly. From this experience, we, as well as other businesses, have adopted the following saying regarding the market, " the early bird gets the worm."
